The winners of the 14th POPAI Awards POP competition of POPAI Hungary, which turns 20 this year, were announced by Ildikó Kátai's Secretary General. The record number of entries was exhibited in Tapolca, on the 5 days of the Trade magazin Business Days conference, between 25-29 September. This year, more than 120 judges and almost three times as many people viewed the entries, which is also a record in the history of the competition.
Before the announcement of the podiums, on behalf of the FMCG profession, the audience congratulated Szilvia Máté, who recently received the Hungarian Golden Cross of Merit in recognition of her outstanding professional activity Hungary developing her foreign relations and strengthening Hungary's positive image abroad.
For the second time in the history of the competition (2018), the entry that won the title of Display of the Year and received the most votes won first place in the "Durable installation" category. Interestingly, just like 5 years ago, this winning display was also an entry from Coca-Cola HBC. The "Coke Creations 2-pallet display" received the highest scores in both "Originality & Innovation" and "Overall Impact & Effectiveness". The display was designed to support the launch of a new limited edition Coca-Cola product. The aim of creating the unusual, dynamic shape, the illuminated parts was to capture the attention of the target audience and emphasize the close relationship between product-music-dance. Unique colours and designs, décor elements related to the campaign and an advertisement running on a digital display made this look even more special.
