Awards), founded in 1958, has been leading the global retail creativity and business presentation trend as the “Oscars of retail marketing”. After more than 60 years of profound accumulation, the competition has covered 15 branches and 25 countries and regions around the world, and formed a comprehensive evaluation system covering marketing, retail terminals, display props and other dimensions. Against the backdrop of the digital wave sweeping the retail industry, Shop! Awards actively responded to the changes of the times, create the digital marketing awards category specially opened for the characteristics of the Greater China market. This innovative initiative has keenly captured the development trend of new retail. As domestic enterprises have accelerated their digital transformation to drive sales and brand communication, the inaugural event has quickly risen to become a highly regarded international showcase with its in-depth analysis of digital innovation.


The Shop! Marketing Awards - Digital Marketing Awards has been successfully held for two years, attracting nearly 300 well-known brands and advertising and marketing companies to submit more than 1,000 entries with remarkable results. The star-studded judging panel of Chinese and foreign experts included Elisabeth Lo, Chairman of the Asia Cooperation Organization of Shop!International Retail Association, Tom Harris, Honorary Chairman of Greater China, Su Xiong, Honorary Chairman of the Asian Advertising Federation, Damon, Creative Director of Giannoccaro, as well as Zhang Bin, Vice President of Branding of Jiumu, Liu Yan, Head of Branding of Yihaijiali Foods Marketing, and Wanglaoji Digital Business and Branding. Ltd., Huang Liangshui, Director of Digital Business and Branding of Wanglaoji, Zhuang Leiyong, General Manager of Uimai China of Gunup Group, Wang Chenhao, Director of Creative Group of Blue Cursor Digital Marketing Agency, and Li Weimin, Chairman of Haijia Mingzhe PR Consultant, and other more than 60 elites from advertising and marketing industry, academia, and renowned business leaders. The competition was widely publicized and reported by more than 50 famous domestic and international media, including China News Network, China.com, China Ad Network, Phoenix.com, Sina.com, Tencent.com, Sohu.com, Youku.com, International Brand Information Network, as well as Advertisers' Watch, Media Headline, Deacon's Ears, and Blue Entertainment Network.

The inaugural 2023 Shop! Awards brought together many well-known brands such as Procter & Gamble, Dragonfish, Heineken Beer, PICC, BYD, FAW Audi, KDDI, Huawei Terminal, Kadeshi, Qiaqia, and Sinian, as well as leading companies in the advertising and marketing industry such as Publicis Group, Three People's Media, Guangdong Province Broadcasting Group, Insea Group, Microdream Media, Cape World Media Group, and Shanghai NAN Culture(W) to participate in the event. at the same time The 2023 Shop! Awards awarded a total of 73 levels of awards, including 1 Grand Prize of the Year, 1 Outstanding Achievement Award in Digital Marketing, 19 Gold Awards, 22 Silver Awards, and 30 Bronze Awards. Among the awards, the project “The Westside Boys‘ World's First Live Streaming Concert on Video”, submitted by Weimeng Media for Tencent, won the Outstanding Achievement in Digital Marketing Award, and the project “The Westside Boys’ World's First Live Streaming Concert on Video”, submitted by ARC@Publicis Groupe, was honored with the Outstanding Achievement in Digital Marketing Award. 2023 Procter & Gamble Hairdressing Dragon's Head Marketing Campaign” won the Grand Prize in the General category.

Stepping into 2024, the scale of the second edition of the tournament has made a qualitative leap. International brands such as Jingdong, Yili, China Resources Beverage, BY-HEALTH, Nestle, Mars Wrigley, and local elites such as Cathay Pacific Airways, Chow Tai Sang, Boss Electrical Appliances, Ruihu, Geely Automobile, etc., joined hands with elite teams in the advertising and marketing sector such as Provincial Guangzhu Group, Shengshi Great Wall, One Hundred and Eighty Creative Group, XueRun Advertisement, A B Advertisement, Wuji, JiuDao Group, and Shanghai NAN Cultural (W) Company, etc., and enthusiastically participated in the second edition of the event. The tournament was supported by sponsorship from Guangzhou Lixi Decoration Design and other organizations. The entries of this year's event still maintained the high level of last year's event, and a total of 54 awards of different levels were selected; “Yili QQ Star ‘Teachers in the Eyes of Children’” submitted by One Eighty Creative Group won the Outstanding Achievement Award in Digital Marketing, and “2024 Red Pixel Series Theme Installation Design for Jingdong Electrical Appliances” won the Outstanding Achievement Award in Digital Marketing by Jingdong Five Star Electrical Appliances. Pixel Series Theme Installation Design” of Jingdong Five Star Electrical Appliances won the Grand Award of the Year in the General Category; 20 Gold Awards, 19 Silver Awards and 13 Bronze Awards were also given to outstanding works.
